Does anyone know how to make your music sound best on an MP3 player??

I currently I have Bose headphones and realized new that in radio stations like Pandora.com and other Internet radio stations of music by playing in my headphones sounds spectacular. My question is are there any way to replicate this on my mp3 player (iriver clix.) At this moment all my songs on the player set at 256 kbps and I have the custom EQ settings. When I I put the custom fit that never sounds "real" I guess. It sounds like the treble is high, but the voice is not strong enough, no matter how I alter it. I have tried all EQ settings but never sounds good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

the issue here is the computer's sound output is probably much better than the iriver is capeable of .. not to mention the EQ may not be as accurate as what is on your computer. the other thing you have to consider is the power of your iriver. most portable players do not have time .. real power amplifiers is not needed too much power to the headphones .. but some headphones require more power than others. The bose are pretty heafty for headphones (size does not determine the actual power required, everything is in the design). The fact that radio stations Internet for a good sound has nothing to do with the bit rate on your player. Internet radio are some things that sounds out there .. usually because it is compressed lousiest to braodcast and touch from the MP3. Now, I'm assuming that you have tried to customize the configuration of custom equalizer .. and still can not make it sound good. The first thing I would do is turn off the equalizer on your MP3 player and turn all things EQ team (see the playback software and hardware configuration audio) and compare the sound "flat" in your player and computer, playing the same mp3. if you drastically different sound … then the problem is more likely the base are too power hungry for iriver little and therefore can not really produce serious. you can not solve this without an external amplifier. Also, you that all their songs are 256kbps .. if you boot from the CD, which is fine .. however, they were already mp3 encoded at 256, I should say that absolutely won no quality and that actually does more damage to make mp3 sound itself. not re-code your stuff. the three people above me … it does not really answer to your question … just told him things he had said he had done ….. good example of people who know a thing or two from people who just try to repeat what I heard …. nothing personal.
