a wall mount lcd vs plasma – much confusion?
My boyfriend wants a wall 42-46 inches LCD or plasma in his new condo. It has metal studs behind the wall. Better buy a plasma says it is too heavy for metal studs, and you must use an LCD screen that weighs much less than the plasma .. not wood external support allowed in condominiums. Tweeters says that LCD and Plasma weigh the same and no problem mounting 42 or 46 "one of the metal posts … who is right? And can she do a 42 or 46 "plasma or LCD wall mount metal studs? Thanks
LCD is the new technology and advise everyone to get the former rather than using the plasma, I bought a SONY 46 "LCD TV and love it. Make sure it is HD ready and has an HDMI port.
